Description
From the Musha Chidori Series comes this intricately hand forged “Cakraratna” Katana set. Full tang 1045 high carbon steel makes this set a resilient katana that is sharp right out of the box.
This complete Samurai Sword Set set comes with the “Daisho”(full size katana as well as the matching wakizashi) and tanto. It also comes with a wood display stand that holds the complete set. It is a must-have for any serious collector or practitioner of the way of the samurai.
Cakraratna is the wheel shaped treasure possessed by the gods. It is known to be a wheel of jewels carried in front of the gods to allow easy passage. The blade is engraved with Japanese characters that roughly translates to “Since ancient times, God is with those who serve with dignity and honor”
A unique feature is the integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. Bo-Hi is commonly known as blood grooves, but that is a common misconception. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to help reduce the weight of the katana, it actually has nothing to do with channeling the blood. Making the Katana lighter enables the user to wield the katana better and puts less stress on the hands. Not to mention it benefits some advance cutting techniques that requires the katana to change direction rapidly.
All Musha swords are able to be fully disassembled. Kiku Gata style Tsuba, Fuchi, Kashira all can be swapped out for different sets. Real wood handle is wrapped with traditional cotton.
