Hand forged using 1095 high carbon steel with polished blade this katana is a must-have for any serious collector or practitioner of the way of the samurai. The blade has gone through clay tempered process and features a Notare style hamon. The handle is real ray skin wrapped battle style in black cotton cord. The maru gata style brass tsuba features a detailed blossoming spring flowers design. The piano coating saya has integrated buffalo horn accent pieces to finish off this masterpiece.
