From the Musha collection comes this intricately hand-forged “Gensho” Katana. Full tang 1045 high carbon steel makes this it a resilient katana that is razor-sharp right out of the box.
White and Blue color themed katana with Maru Gata style tsuba. The detail tsuba depicts the five elements Fire, Water, Metal, Wood, and Earth. The beautiful blue vine patterns on the white blade make it stand out.
This blade features integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. Bo-Hi is commonly known as blood grooves, but that is a common misconception. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to help reduce the weight of the katana, it has nothing to do with channeling the blood. Making the Katana lighter enables the user to wield the katana better and puts less stress on the hands. Not to mention it benefits some advanced cutting techniques that requires the katana to change direction rapidly.
All Musha swords can be fully disassembled. Maru Gata style Tsuba, Fuchi, and Kashira all can be swapped out for a different set. The real wood handle is wrapped with traditional cotton.
