Musha Maru Dragon Katana
Musha Maru Dragon Katana
From the Musha Raiden series comes this intricately hand forged “Dragon” Katana. Full tang 1045 high carbon steel makes this a resilient katana that is sharp right out of the box.
Traditional black color themed katana with Maru Gata style tsuba. The detail tsuba depicts the mythical dragon surrounding the blade. Beautiful Damascus pattern on the blade stands out from the rest.
This blade features integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. Bo-Hi is commonly known as blood grooves, but that is a common misconception. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to helps reduce the weight of the katana, it actually has nothing to do with channeling the blood. Making the Katana lighter enables the user to weld the katana smoother and puts less stress on the hands. Not to mention it benefits some advance cutting techniques that requires the katana to change direction rapidly.
All Musha swords are able to be fully disassembled. Maru Gata style Tusba, Fuchi, Kashira all can be swapped out for a different set. Real wood handle is wrapped with traditional cotton.
Included with this katana is a maintenance kit to make sure your katana lasts a lifetime as well as a sword bag and a deluxe gift box.
